What the app collects

Sound With Bones does not collect personal data or transmit your drawings, instruments, recordings, or author name to No Worries! Lifestyle, LLC. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics SDK, or tracking. Audio is synthesized on your device. Song recording captures the app's audio and does not access your microphone. Editable performances store the actions you play and their starting drawing on your device.

Purchases

Sound With Bones Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple processes payment and manages subscriptions under its own privacy policy; we do not receive your payment details or Apple Account information. The app checks your purchase with StoreKit on your device and stores only whether Plus is active. If you start a free trial and allow notifications, the app schedules a local reminder on your device before the trial ends.

Local files and preferences

Your instrument library, song recordings, titles, author credits, your onboarding choice, review-question history, workshop drawings, versions, recorded performance actions, sound recipes, saved experiment comparisons and progress, and preferences are stored on your device. Your device backup settings may include these files in a system backup. Apple manages those backups under its own policies.

Importing and sharing

You choose files through the system Files picker and destinations through the share sheet. Exported instruments and songs include their title and author credit. Copies sent to another person or service are handled by that recipient or service. Services such as iCloud Drive operate under their own privacy policies.

Music hosts

If you use the AUv3 instrument, the music host supplies MIDI input and receives generated audio. The host can save your drawing in its project. We do not receive this data. The host and any service you use to share its project operate under their own policies.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual saved items from their Library options menu. Deleting an item locally does not remove copies you already exported or shared. Deleting the app through iOS Settings removes its local library and preferences. Manage backups separately in your device's backup settings.

Support messages

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the message or files you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request and maintain necessary support records. Do not send recordings or other material you do not want us to receive.

This website

These pages have no analytics scripts, advertisements, forms, or tracking cookies. Our website host may process ordinary request information, including an IP address, to deliver and secure the pages. External sites operate under their own privacy policies.
